On the remote computer, check for the AutoLoader 2.x Service software icon in the Windows taskbar. The icon displays on the lower right side of the taskbar, near the time. |

If the icon displays in the taskbar, right-click it and select Start. |
|

If the icon does not display in the taskbar, start the AutoLoader 2.x Service software application as follows. |
|
a.
|
Navigate to AutoLoader Service folder at C:\Program Files\Illumina\AutoLoader Service. |
|
b.
|
Select the AutoLoaderService.exe file. |
The AutoLoader 2.x Service dialog box opens.
|
c.
|
Select the ellipsis button and browse to the folder where the iScan Control Software (iCS) is installed. |
|
d.
|
Select Start to start the service. |
Do not start the iCS on the remote reader.
|
4.
|
On the local computer, select the iCS icon on the desktop to start the iCS. |
The iCS automatically detects the AutoLoader 2.x. The software prompts you to run the software in AutoLoader mode or Manual mode (without the AutoLoader 2.x).

|
Select Yes to run iCS in AutoLoader mode. |
The iCS verifies the login information for the readers and the Welcome screen opens.
Single Reader Configuration
