Monitor the Scan Progress

This snippet causes dropdowns to open on page load. This text/paragraph does not appear in the output.

As the iScanDx Reader scans, the colored strip at the top of each iDOS screen shows the scan status.

• Dark orange with small text—Step is complete.
• Dark orange with large text—Step is in progress.
• Light orange—Step is not complete.

The following sections describe additional components you can use to monitor scan progress.

The Progress Indicator is on the left side of the screen. The color of the indicator changes according to the status of the scan.

• Light Blue—Stripe is queued to be scanned.
• Dark Gray—Stripe will not be scanned.
• Orange—Stripe is being scanned or registered.
• Green—Stripe was successfully scanned and registered.
• Red—Scan and/or registration warning.

The Image Preview area fills most of the iDOS screen. The screen displays the swath of the stripe currently being scanned.

The Status Bar is located between the Image Preview and the Information Bar. The Status Bar shows the current actions of the iScanDx Reader during scanning. Flashing LED lights indicate which components are in use for each action.

The Information Bar is located across the bottom of the iScanDx Operating Software Scan screen. The Information Bar summarizes the following information:

• Scan Settings file
• LIMS status
• Input path
• Output paths where intensity files and images are saved.

An LED on the Information Bar indicates the Initialization status, as follows.

• Green—The iScanDx Reader initialized successfully.
• Yellow—The iScanDx Reader has been conditionally initialized.
• Red—The iScanDx Reader did not initialize.
