Electromagnetic Radio Frequency Precautions

The IAPS with ILASS conforms to European regulations regarding interference immunity. However, direct exposure to electromagnetic radio frequency (RF) fields or static electricity can negatively affect the liquid level detection ability. Specifically, this effect can cause faulty detection of the liquid surface, which causes the instrument to produce incorrect results.

Keep the IAPS with ILASS away from other equipment that emits RF fields in the laboratory, and minimize static electricity in its immediate environment. Do not connect devices that can interfere with the supply grid to the same power line as the instrument. Keep a distance of at least 2 m from the instrument when using a cellular phone.
