Load PR2 and Check the Waste Bottle

1.

Remove the bottle of PR2 from 2° to 8°C storage. Invert to mix, and then remove the lid. |

Open the reagent compartment door. |
|
3.
|
Raise the sipper handle until it locks into place. |
|
4.
|
Remove the wash bottle and load the PR2 bottle. |

5.
|
Empty the contents of the waste bottle into the appropriate waste container. |

6.
|
Slowly lower the sipper handle. Make sure that the sippers lower into the PR2 and waste bottles. |

If the software does not identify the RFID of the PR2 bottle, refer to Resolve RFID Read Failure. |
In the event the RFID cannot be read, perform the following steps:

a.

Raise and then lower the sipper handle to retry the RFID read. |
|
b.
|
If the RFID fails a second time, select the keyboard icon to open the on-screen keyboard. |
|
c.
|
Enter the barcode number of the PR2, which is on the PR2 bottle label directly below the barcode. Select Done. |
|
d.
|
Select Next to proceed to the next run setup step. |
A diagnostic run is allowed one RFID read failure. If the RFID of two consumables fails, the software cannot proceed to the next run setup step.
