Shut Down the Instrument
It is recommended to keep the instrument turned on continuously for optimal performance. However, if the instrument needs to be turned off, follow these steps to shut down Windows and prepare the fluidics lines.

1.

Perform a maintenance wash. For more information, refer to Perform a Maintenance Wash. |

2.

Remove the waste bottle and discard the contents appropriately. Return the waste bottle to the reagent compartment. |

3.
|
Close the reagent compartment door. |
|
4.
|
From the Home screen, select Manage Instrument. |
This command shuts down the software.
|
6.
|
Toggle the power switch to the OFF position. |
Any time that you turn off the instrument, wait a minimum of 60 seconds before turning the power switch back to the ON position.
