Sequencing Consumables

Sequencing on the MiSeq i100 Series requires one single-use MiSeq i100 Series reagent kit. Each component uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) for accurate consumable tracking and compatibility. The reagent kit contains the following components:

Dry cartridge
Wet cartridge
Resuspension Buffer (RSB) tube
Library Denaturation Buffer (KLD) tube

When you receive your kit, visually inspect each component and promptly store components at the indicated temperature to ensure proper performance.

All kit components are shipped at room temperature.

* Store vertically and in the packaging to prevent leaks.

Handle cartridges with care to avoid dropping them, as dropping a cartridge may damage the cartridge. Damaged cartridges can leak reagents, which could lead to skin irritation. Always inspect cartridges for cracks before use.

To shield from moisture and oxygen, keep the consumables in the original packages until they are ready to be used.
