Empty Waste Bottle
This set of reagents contains potentially hazardous chemicals. Personal injury can occur through inhalation, ingestion, skin contact, and eye contact. Ventilation should be appropriate for handling of hazardous materials in reagents. Wear protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves, and laboratory coat appropriate for risk of exposure. Handle used reagents as chemical waste and discard in accordance with applicable regional, national, and local laws and regulations. The MiSeq i100 Series Control Software checks the waste level during run setup, and prompts you to open the waste compartment door when it is time to empty the waste bottle. If the MiSeq i100 Series Control Software has not notified you to empty the waste bottle, you can manually open the waste compartment door. Refer to Open Used Reagent Door.

Remove the waste bottle from the door, grasping the waste bottle by the sides. |

2.

Discard the contents of the waste bottle in accordance with the applicable standards for your region. |

3.
|
Return the uncapped waste bottle to the waste compartment. |
