Network Settings
The network settings are initially configured when the instrument is configured during the first time setup. If the network settings were skipped during the first time setup, or must be updated, you can make the necessary changes in the Network settings section of the MiSeq i100 Series Control Software.

Select the menu icon in the upper-left corner. |

Select Settings, and then select Network settings. |

Select Edit for the section to update. |
Hostname and Domain
If a hostname is not provided, the MiSeq i100 serial number is used. If you need to access the MiSeq i100 remotely, your IT representative must add the hostname to the network and enable ports 80 and 443.
LAN1 and LAN2
IP Address
To use a static IP address, manually enter the IP address, or use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to automate the assignment of the IP address.

DNS Server
If you are inputting the DNS servers manually, you can include multiple servers by separating them with commas. If the instrument is not on the domain, you can search for the domain.
