Configure Cloud Settings and Illumina Proactive Support
Use the following instructions to configure Illumina Proactive support and BaseSpace Sequence Hub or ICA on your system. For more information on BaseSpace Sequence Hub, refer to the BaseSpace Sequence Hub support site page. For more information on ICA, refer to the Illumina Connected Analytics support site page.
| 1. | Select the instrument icon to open the global navigation menu. |
| 2. | Select Settings, and then select Cloud settings. |
| 3. | To enable a cloud connection, select the location of your BaseSpace Sequence Hub or ICA domain under the Hosting location drop-down. |
| 4. | If using BaseSpace Sequence Hub Enterprise or ICA, enter the private domain name. |
Not required for BaseSpace Sequence Hub Professional or Basic accounts.
| 5. | Select Test configuration to check your cloud connection. |
Make sure that you have added the required endpoints to the allow list for your firewall. For a list of endpoints, refer to the documentation available on the Illumina Product Security Portal. You must log in to access documentation.
If the required endpoints are not on the allow list, you cannot connect to Illumina cloud-based services.
| 6. | Select a default run setting from the following options. You can change the default run setting during run setup. |
| • | Cloud run monitoring—Select to enable remote run monitoring. Illumina Proactive support is automatically included. Run monitoring is only visible in BaseSpace Sequence Hub. |
| • | Cloud run storage—Select to store run data in the cloud and automatically launch analysis. Illumina Proactive support and run monitoring are automatically included. |
| 7. | If cloud run storage is enabled, select the following checkboxes to upload those intermediate secondary files from local analysis to the cloud: |
| • | Upload FASTQ files to the cloud |
| • | Upload BAM/CRAM files to the cloud |
| 8. | To enable Illumina Proactive support, select the Send instrument performance data to Illumina checkbox. |
Depending on your cloud settings, this option might be required.
| 9. | Select Save to finish. |
