System Overview
The Infinium RoMa automates the pipetting of liquid samples and reagents for workflows involving microarray preparation on BeadChips. The Infinium Automated Pipetting System with ILASS (IAPS with ILASS) is a specific configuration of the Infinium RoMa, tailored to execute the automation software, ILASS, and its corresponding workflow plug-ins. Use this documentation as a reference for operating the IAPS with ILASS to perform automated protocols.
The IAPS with ILASS enables you to complete the following tasks:
| • | Load and unload reagent containers, microplates, tubes, and carriers on the instrument worktable manually. |
| • | Scan the barcodes labeled on carriers, BeadChips, and other workflow components. |
| • | Aspirate and transfer liquids through pipetting tips. |
