Genealogy View
Genealogy view is an interactive and hierarchical view of the history of an experiment processed through BaseSpace Clarity LIMS. A genealogy starts with a submitted sample and progresses with nodes nested beneath it. Information is displayed in a hierarchy and shows parent - child relationships between these nodes. For example, a derived sample may be an input to a step that produces derived sample outputs. This sample output is then input to the next step in the workflow.
Genealogy can be used to:
| • | View submitted samples and derived samples, on each step the samples pass through. |
| • | Troubleshoot and view the outcome and possible continuous outcomes of each step, including the indented children steps nested within their parent steps. |
| • | View QC flags relating to sample measurements. |
| • | View custom fields for items in the genealogy. |
| • | View and download files. |
| • | View and print summary reports. |
