Create Local User Account (Optional)

The following instructions are applicable to automation systems using the ILASS Infinium Module. If you use local authentication for ILASS, you must create your own user account within Keycloak to use ILASS on the IAPS or IAS.

1. Using your admin login credentials, log in to Keycloak.
2. On the upper-left side of the screen, select the drop-down menu, and then select the ilass-infinium realm.
3. Select Users , and then select Add User.
4. On the Create user screen, create a username.

Ignore the Required user actions drop-down menu.

5. Update the following fields:
Username
Email
First name
Last Name
Email Verified: On
6. Select Create to save the user information.

Keycloak can change any capitalized letters in both the username and email address.

7. Select the Credentials tab, and then select Set password.
8. Enter your preferred password and set Temporary to Off.
9. Select Save two times to save your password.
10. Select the Role mapping tab, and then select Assign role.
11. In the drop-down menu, select Filter by clients.
12. In the Search by role name field, enter ilass. Select the arrow to the right of the field.
13. Select the applicable roles for the new user (Administrator, Lab Technician, or Service), and then select Assign.

Make sure that the assigned role and default roles display in the Role mapping tab.

14. On the upper-right of the screen, select admin, and then select Sign out from the drop-down menu to log out of the Keycloak admin console.
15. Open ILASS and confirm that you can log in using the newly created user and credentials with local authentication.

When opening ILASS on an IAPS, a message displays that prompts you to sign into EVOware. Log in using the ILASS account that was created during installation or upgrade of the IAPS.
