Local and Platform Authentication

ILASS modules can use two different modes of user authentication:

•

Local—ILASS uses the access management software Keycloak for performing authentication on a local network.

•

Platform—ILASS uses the access management of a cloud-based platform, such as BaseSpace Sequence Hub.

These authentication modes are set up during ILASS installation and require a trained Illumina field service representative for configuration. For local authentication, the field service representative sets up Keycloak before ILASS installation.
