Users

The MiSeq i100 Series Control Software has the following roles:

Sequencer operators—Allows the user to perform sequencing and access all sequencing features. To access the control software on-instrument, a user must be assigned the Sequencer operators role. This is the default role when a new user is created.
Administrators—Allows the user to access all administrator functions and settings. You can assign the user to the Administrators role when adding a user. The Administrators role includes all the access given to the Sequencer operators role.

User Permissions

The following Settings permissions are available for each role. The Sequencer operators role is selected by default when a new user is created and the Administrators role can also be selected. Refer to Add Users.
