Configure Run Mode
The run mode applies to all runs and determines where to enter run parameters and how to analyze data.
1. | From the control software menu, select Settings. |
2. | Select Online Run Setup under BaseSpace Sequence Hub Services & Proactive Support. |
3. | Configure additional settings appropriately by selecting the following: |
a. | Proactive and Run Monitoring or Proactive, Run Monitoring and Storage. |
b. | Dropdown menu for Hosting Location. |
c. | [Optional] Enter a Private Domain Name. |
4. | Select Save. |

2. | Select Local Run Setup under BaseSpace Sequence Hub Services & Proactive Support. |
3. | Configure additional settings appropriately by selecting the following: |
a. | Proactive Support Only, Proactive and Run Monitoring, Proactive, Run Monitoring and Storage, or None. |
BaseSpace Sequence Hub only allows requeue functionality if Proactive, Run Monitoring and Storage is selected. If there is an invalid sample sheet, this option allows you to make corrections to the sample sheet and requeue demultiplexing analysis. For on-instrument requeue functionality, refer to Requeue a Run.
b. | Dropdown menu for Hosting Location. |
c. | [Optional] Enter a Private Domain Name. |
4. | Select Save. |
You must use the sample sheet v2 file format to analyze with DRAGEN. Sample sheet v2 file format is also compatible with BaseSpace Sequence Hub apps that are not DRAGEN enabled. For information on creating a sample sheet in the v2 file format, refer to the Sample Sheet v2 Resource.
