System Configuration
The first time the system is turned on, the iSeq 100 Control Software is launched with a series of screens to guide you through first time setup. First time setup includes performing a system check to confirm instrument performance and configuring system settings.
If you want to modify system settings after first time setup, select the System Settings command in the control software. The command opens the Settings, Network Access, and Customization tabs, where you can access all control software settings and Windows network settings.

Validation Runs
Optionally perform a validation run before sequencing experimental libraries for the first time. A validation run sequences 100% PhiX, which functions as a control library, to confirm system operation. For instructions, refer to Sequencing.
