Make sure that you have all reagents identified in this section before starting library prep. The protocol requires one Illumina Stranded mRNA Prep, Ligation kit and at least one set of lllumina RNA UD Indexes. Combine all four sets to index up to 384 libraries.

The prep kits provide reagents for mRNA selection, cDNA synthesis, and library prep in a 16- or 96-sample size. The indexes sets provide premixed Index 1 (i7) and Index 2 (i5) adapters with the adapters necessary for ligation.
The Illumina kits do not include Agencourt AMPure XP beads. For supplier information, refer to User-Supplied Consumables & Equipment.
